MAAT is the Egyptian goddess of universal order and truthfulness. She puts all of WoMen’s acts on a scale and scrutinizes their value. Only those who pass her scrutiny are accepted as truthful. People of ancient Egypt did not define order merely as tidiness, but, rather, as a condition in which all decisions and acts in life correspond with the individual and common understanding of order and truthfulness.

Artio is the Celtic goddess of hunting, art, and creativity. She represents art as a creative media that is not merely the expression of the few, but, as in our Western culture, of everyone. It is the power to give expression to one’s own truth and to make it visible.
